On every tenth of a month, one of the largest cattle markets takes place in Benkovac, Croatia. Farmers and merchants from nearby villages, towns and islands swarm to the heart of Ravni kotari. From dawn till dusk, they haggle, offer, measure, buy and sell. The offer is versatile: from tools to food, clothes and shoes, healthy living elixirs and life itself...
