A car accident on the Y-thoroughfare, on a section of Rovinj – Trieste road, initiated a series of coincidences. To the author of the film and participant of the accident, it opened a door to a forgotten glamour of American film from the 1930s. At the same time, it offered a different perspective of the Italian city to the film viewers, beside the usual image of a shopping destination.
