The script for a short film of the working title “Indian Summer” was created within the scriptwriting workshop PALUNKO 7. Palunko is a project of the Croatian Film Association dedicated to developing the culture of writing for film, encouraging scriptwriting education and promoting scriptwriting in Croatia. The workshop has for nine consecutive years been held during Zagreb Film Festival. The winning scriptwriter receives the opportunity to create the film produced by the Croatian Film Association.
It is early autumn. Two men walk through a forest that gracefully combines summer’s lush green with the yellows and reds announcing autumn. They do not walk on a road or path but there is enough space for them to walk side by side. The atmosphere of the forest – the colours, sounds, its freshness – inspires them both to talk. They know the subjects well; it is a pleasant conversation. They play with details which prompt them onwards. Even when they are not able to recognize a certain detal – the story continues, there are no interruptions…
