On Monday, July 9th, the selection committee of the 17th Youth Film Festival and the 5th Four River Film Festival consisting of Diana Nenadić, Boško Picula and Jura Troje chose the films that are to be shown at this years’ YFF and FRFF programme.
The judges were literally swamped with the number of films sent by highschoolers’ from all over Croatia and the world. The committee had to choose from the 99 films that were received for the YFF competition and the 190 films received for the FRFF competition those which they found to be the best, and it goes without saying that they had a hard time in doing so. Following the numerous hours of material watching, studying, compromising and thinking the decision was made, and their votes went to 67 films from 14 countries.
We offer our congratulations to the authors. We are looking forward to see you all in Karlovac from 12th – 15th of September, when, once again, the town takes on the role of the worlds’ capital of high school film, and all thanks to the following titles:
