Béla Tárr and Hungarian rapsody
An informative article on the occasion
of the presentation of seven hours long feature film Soton’s
Tango by the Hungarian filmmaker B, la Tarr in Zagreb.
The career of the filmmaker, and the main features of his
cinematic world are reviewed, as well as some basic characteristics
of his last film: with Tarr’s dealing with temporality
and spatiality as the means for the articulation of author’s
