19 international woman film festival in creteil

A review article on the film festival (14-23 March 1997) in Cr, tail, in the neighbourhood of Paris. The festival consistently attempts to present the film by women directors. This year a special section and several discussions on the festival were dedicated to the »Woman Directors from Central and Eastern Europe«. The article deal with the conception of the festival, with some individual films, and with some principle differences among the Western directors and those comming from the East.
