In the first days of September you’re the stars of the City of the Six-pointed Star!

The dice has been cast by the Croatian Film Association and the Cinema Club Karlovac, and the total is 16 for the 16th Youth Film Festival and the 4th Four River Film Festival!

The dice has been cast, the numbers are on the table and the cards have been shown. If you think 16 and 4 are your lucky numbers it is up to you to enter the stellar audition. High school players accepted, regardless of their location on the globe, the only common language, the only ticket in is – a film from your neighborhood!

A whole four days, from September 7 to 10, Karlovac is the only place where the game of fortune becomes the game of film, making film the fortune. But let’s get down to it, judging from last year’s edition, in which 150 players from Croatia, the region and the world competed for the film fortune, we won’t be short of good films and some serious action. On top of that, no-one ended up in one of Karlovac’s four rivers or ended up empty-handed, because in Karlovac everyone is a winner! If you don’t get one of the prizes then at least you’ll be richer for four days of fun with a great film program, new knowledge at workshops, a chance to meet the other players and explore the Karlovac area at excursions, and everyone who handles the day-time activities is in for a great evening program in the company of amazing bands from Karlovac!
