Applying the principles of Carl Gustav Jung (primarily Jung’s theory of archetypes), the author analyzes thematically and in detail Croatian feature films that were first run in the period from 1990-1992: A Summer to Remember by Bruno Gamulin, The Eagle by Zoran Tadic, Stela by Petar Krelja, Carnival, Angel, and Dust by Antun Vrdoljak, Caruga by Rajko Grlic, Ðuka Begovicby Branko Schmidt, Fragments — the Chronicle of a Dissapearance by Zrinko Ogresta, The Time of Warriors by Dejan Šorak, The Story from Croatia by Krsto Papic, The Murmuring Shell by Miroslav Medimorec, The Stone Gate by Ante Babaja, The Harbour by Tomislav Radic, and several middle meter films: Croatian Cathedrals by Hrvoje Hribar, While Nobody’s Watching by Lukas Nola, Mor by Snježana Tribuson and White Grandma by Stijepo Mijovic-Kocan.
