DISCUSSING BOOKS
On inovative animation
Liz Faber, Helen Walters, 2004, Animation Unlimited; Inovative Short Films Since 1940, London: Laurence King Publishing.
Monograph Animation Unlimited is a beautiful and rich illustration of the peaks of world animation with a very useful DVD, with a solid choice of excerpts and films (the choice was defined by limitations of copyrights). Borivoj Dovniković Bordo, a classic of the Zagreb School of Animation, also found a place among the great names of world animation, but this is by no means unusual, nor should it makes us too pleased. Namely, were the authors not from the Anglo-Saxon cultural circle, a few other classics of the Zagreb School of Animation (Kristl, Vukotić...) might have also found their place in the book.
