The author explains the importance of the catalogue of film stock of the Croatian Historical Museum. Apart from the fact that museology is extremely important for any society’s culture, and film is a logical, constitutive part of such an activity, this is an exceptionally valuable, functional and tastefully designed publication. One can imagine how interesting it must be to meet with different viewpoints presented in the book (producers from different countries and political regimes, and from different periods of regimes that ravaged our lands), so that the author believes that this catalogue will serve the promotion of the Museum’s collection and encourage its promotion beyond the Museum’s walls.
