Boris Poljak
Born in 1959, in
Split. He studied law. He has been a member of the Cineclub
Split since 1978. The same club produced his two non-professional
films in 1980, New Year and Geronimo. He was also cameraman
in eight experimental films on super 8 and 16 mm.
Since 1990, he has been working as professional film and television
cameraman. He was one of the organizers of the Parliament of
alternative film in Split from 1982 to 1988, and one of the
originators of the International festival of new film and video
in Split.
He won the awards for camerawork at Days of Croatian Film, 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2005.
