Tanja Golić
Born in 1973, in Rijeka, Croatia.
In 1991.,she got a degree from CUO EUK ‘Mijo Mirković’ in Rijeka. (theme:’Propaganda’). In 1998., she graduated from Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka, majoring Arts History. (theme: Cindy Sherman photography’ or ‘one size fits for all’ contemporary photography), while in 2000. she got another degree in ‘Organizing cultural activities’ from the same university (theme: Organizing the filming of a documentary: Motovun Film Festival 2000’). She has been a member of CAA (Croatian Association of Artists) since 2001.
In 2007., she got a degree from Film and TV direction department at Academy for Performing Arts in Zagreb (theme: John Cassavetes – Faces – dramaturgy and working with actors) She has been a member of CFDG (Croatian Film Directors Guild) since 2007.
She has been showing her work since 1990s in graphic, video, installation and film media. She’s an author, scriptwriter and director of several short fictional, documentary and experimental films for which she had been awarded at, for example, Croatian film days, Zagreb Film Festival, Sarajevo film festival…
She lives and works in both Rijeka and Zagreb.
