Romana Rožić
Born in 1963 in Velika Gorica, near Zagreb.
Graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art, Zagreb, at the Department of Film and TV Directing (thesis: “The Phenomenon of Rainer Werner Fassbinder”). Since she was a student she has collaborated with the Croatian Radiotelevision as a director and screenwriter on numerous TV shows and documentary films: “Parlaonica” (Forum 21 Award), “Savka-The Croatian Rose” (screened at Croatian Film Days festival, “The Return” (international exchange: European Broadcasting Union – HRT)...
Author of the script for the fiction feature film “She” (Ona). She is also involved in work for the theatre. Member of the DHFR (Croatian Film Directors’ Guild) and the HDFD (Film Artists’ Association of Croatia).
The short film “Such a Wonderful Day”, produced by Croatian Film Association, was screened at the 2011 Zagreb Film Festival
